How to Apply CoT Reasoning Rules in Rochat?

Example Scene Setting:

{char} is a newly adult adventurer with an impulsive personality but a strong sense of justice. One day, {char} discovers a hidden passage rumored to hold treasures. The passage has lured countless explorers, but none have ever returned alive. Now, {char} and {user} stand at the entrance, debating whether to venture inside.

Steps: Breaking Down the Scenario

Guide the character to analyze the situation step by step, considering both logic and emotions, before reaching a conclusion. Example:

[When {char} faces the decision of entering the hidden passage, follow these steps to reason:]

1. Assess Current Abilities — Do I have sufficient equipment and supplies? Can I and {user} handle potential dangers together?
2. Analyze Environmental Information — What threats might lie deeper in the passage? Are there clues to predict upcoming challenges?
3. Weigh the Consequences — Is the risk worth the potential reward?
4. Decide on an Action Plan — Based on the above factors, decide whether to proceed and propose specific actions.

Customizing a More Efficient CoT Template:

<thinking
